LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis added another blue-chip recruit this week with the commitment of Carius Curne, a four-star offensive lineman from Arkansas. According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Curne is the No. 5 IOL in the 2025 recruiting class. On3 is particularly high on his abilities, slotting Curne as the top IOL in the class.
Curne is the top overall recruit in Arkansas, according to On3, 247Sports, and ESPN. Pulling Curne away from the Razorbacks was an impressive feat, especially with Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman’s history when it comes to recruiting offensive linemen. But Davis, who spent time on staff at Arkansas and Missouri, knows the area well.
According to On3, LSU’s 2025 class ranks No. 2 in the nation. The Tigers sit top 10 at 247 too, with a No. 7 ranking.
Curne is LSU’s fourth OL addition of the class. Today, we’ll take a look at what this offensive line class looks like now along with possible additions. With four already in the class, LSU probably won’t add much more, so the attention will narrow on a few prospects.
Here’s the general state of the class heading into the second half of the summer.
LSU has three of the top 10 interior OL in the class
With commitments from Curne, Tyler Miller, and Devin Harper, LSU has commitments from three of the top 10 interior offensive linemen in the class. Per On3, Curne ranks No. 1 with Miller and Harper ranking No. 6 and No. 7 respectively.
With LSU likely losing both guards after the 2024 season, this is big. Brad Davis will have an influx of talent coming in right as Garrett Dellinger and Miles Frazier exit.
A strong interior is needed to deal with the defensive tackles LSU sees in the SEC. This class builds on the foundation LSU already set.
Don't sleep on Brett Bordelon
Those three aren’t the only blue-chip IOL LSU has in the class. They’re joined by Brett Bordelon, the brother of current LSU offensive tackle Bo Bordelon.
Bordelon is an industry three-star but has four stars from Rivals. According to On3 and 247Sports, he’s a top 50 IOL in the class. Georgia and Alabama were also interested in his services, but there wasn’t much doubt about the legacy player ending up at LSU.
His brother Bo wasn’t a top recruit either, but he’s worked his way into the two-deep on LSU’s 2024 depth chart. If we see similar progress from Brett, LSU has a good one here.
Does it matter the entire class is IOL?

As it stands right now, LSU’s entire 2025 offensive line class is listed as interior offensive linemen. That doesn’t mean they are locked into that spot at the next level, but it’s where they’re projected now.
You might remember Emery Jones being listed as an interior offensive lineman as a recruit and now he’s on his way to being a first-round tackle.
We don’t know how Brian Kelly and Brad Davis view this current group from a position standpoint, but if they are all in fact guards, LSU could still hunt for a tackle.
Options at offensive tackle
Four-star Micah Debose
On3 lists DeBose as a guard, but he’s a tackle according to 247Sports. He was once a Georgia commit, but this would could come down to Alabama and LSU now.
Four-star Mario Nash
Nash is the No. 23 ranked offensive tackle in the class according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He took an official visit to LSU on June 14, but Mississippi State likely leads the way for the Mississippi recruit.
Another tackle option
Five-star Michael Fasusi
This is another long shot, but Fasusi is one of the best tackles in this class and was involved with LSU at one point. He’s a Texas product and according to the On3 Prediction Machine, the Longhorns and Aggies lead the way.
