After reading some of the responses to her post, I’m repeating this important phrase in Emer’s post earlier this week: “Whether you are a Baby Boomer, a Millennial or Gen Z, please make sure you always seek out independent and factual sources of information before making decisions about your health and vaccination.”Can I please add - ‘always seek out independent, factual, **scientifically validated** sources of information, **interpreted by scientifically and statistically trained experts**’There are very few certainties in life and for everything else, I would like to benefit from the advice of the best, most experienced, robustly-challenged scientists across the disciplines. Such as the… European Medicines Agency Emer Cooke European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) FDA Centers for Disease Control and Prevention etc …#WorldImmunizationWeek #UnitedinProtection #EIW2024 #vaccines

According to 2023 data from #VaccineTrack, national trends in Q1 2023 indicate that vaccination rates are slowly increasing toward pre-pandemic levels. On average, vaccination claims in Q1 2023 are 14% higher than Q1 2019. While it is too early to consider this trend a victory for public health, the uptick in rates is a very encouraging step toward helping close the #immunization gap.
